Free-Range Whole Christmas Turkey

A fresh, free-range whole turkey for your Christmas table. Supplied uncooked, ready to roast. Select your preferred size from 4kg to 10kg; the selected weight and total price are shown above.
Cooking instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Pat the turkey dry, rub the skin with butter or olive oil and season with sea salt and herbs. Roast on a rack or in a roasting dish, allowing approximately 30–40 minutes per kilogram as a guide only. Check the thickest part of the breast and thigh with a meat thermometer, avoiding bone; both must reach at least 75°C. If the skin browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil. Rest covered for 20–30 minutes before carving.
